Interested in hosting events in your neighborhood?

Visit the Albuquerque Parks and Recreation's "Guide for Organizing a Park Event" page today!

Designed and created by the Metropolitan Parks and Recreation Advisory Board (MPRAB), the new page is packed with information! Download the Park and Recreation Department's new handy guide for hosting park events and check out links to help you plan your next fun-filled event at our City parks.

The MPRAB was established to encourage the greatest use of parks and recreation programs, to keep itself informed of city parks and recreation needs, and to serve as a forum for public discussion. The MPRAB meets on a monthly basis and its meetings are open to the public.

Research shows that “activated parks” are not only good for physical and social health, but for public safety. Parks with sustained, active programs and activities for children, youth, adults, and seniors experience lower rates of vandalism and crime.
