Lomas Traffic Calming & Green Stormwater Infrastructure Analysis

In Final Design

Councilor Fiebelkorn has begun the process of traffic calming on Lomas between Girard and San Pedro. An initial traffic study was completed. Capital outlay and City funding has been secured to complete the project.
Improvements will include installing rest-on-red traffic timing in the area, creating a Bus and Turn Lane, and the use of green stormwater infrastructure in the area. The main goal of the project is to improve travel and safety for all users while fostering a vibrant, multimodal corridor. Capital Outlay funding in 2025 is provided by Senator Sedillo-Lopez, and Representatives Anaya, Anyanonu, and Parajón.
