Pueblo Alto Mile Hi Green Stormwater Infrastructure

Design Phase IIIA takes the project from concept to design, offering public engagement with neighborhood members throughout the process.

Background and Goals

The primary focus of this project is to reduce flooding and drainage problems south of Constitution Ave to Lomas Blvd, between San Pedro Dr and Washington St.

Existing underground stormwater drainage infrastructure no longer has the capacity to withstand larger storm events, specifically 100-year storms. Smaller, neighborhood-level, green stormwater interventions will be implemented to mitigate local drainage issues, while the larger drainage projects are being planned and implemented.
