Communication Volunteers Your neighborhood will be required to provide volunteers for training, planting, and on-going maintenance of the trees. Property Ownership Private property owners with a tree planted on their property will be responsible for watering and maintaining their trees. The neighborhood will be responsible for identifying property ownership. How will neighborhood members support each other with irrigation and maintenance? Will you work with other neighborhood groups or businesses? If there are renters who move, how will you ensure property owners continue to care for their trees? Long-Term Watering, Maintenance & Monitoring Maintaining Interest Your neighborhood will be required to conduct routine tree maintenance and watering, and will have check-ups from certified arborists for the next three years. How does your neighborhood organization plan on maintaining interest in the project, and conducting long-term maintenance?** Please limit response to 300 words or less. ** Each property owner receiving a tree will be required to sign an agreement with the City of Albuquerqueregarding the maintenance and watering of the tree.
