Workshop: Indigo Dyeing

Where
Description
In this class, instructors Myra Chang Thompson and Carla Wackenheim feature the use of Indigo dye, one of the dye stuffs used by Colonial Spanish spinners and weavers to obtain beautiful shades of blue. The dye was often sold or traded from Mexico, and it is one of few natural dyes that does not require a mordant. Participants dye both wool and cotton in this workshop.
