Description

Calling all library lovers! In honor of Open To All: A Century of Access at Special Collections Library, celebrate all forms of literacy with pop-up story times and readings throughout the Museum, hands-on art activities, film screenings, and community story sharing. As we ease into the new school year, start your next chapter by learning about the valuable resources the libraries offer, sign up for your free library card, and even check out a book. For 100 years the libraries have provided a space to gather and grow, spend your evening in community and celebrate that history together.

6 pm concert:

Raven Chacon: American Ledger no. 1

Chatter ABQ, in collaboration with 516 Arts, presents a special performance of Raven Chacon's American Ledger no. 1, a narrative score for performance, telling the creation story of the founding of the United States.

Third Thursdays are made possible in part by The City of Albuquerque Urban Enhancement Trust Fund, New Mexico Arts, Albuquerque Museum Foundation, and American Home.
