Join us in what promises to be a captivating conversation with acclaimed photographer Cara Romero and celebrated potter Diego Romero. Together, they will discuss the ways in which their work fuses elements of popular culture, ancestral traditions, and the supernatural to celebrate protagonists powered by their Indigeneity. Through their art, the Romeros harness the power of storytelling to illuminate the past, present, and future of Indigenous lifeways.  This conversation will be moderated by Deb Jojola, an artist from Isleta and Jemez who has also held curatorial and teaching positions in New Mexico.
