The applicant is requesting an Air Quality Construction Permit.
- The applicant requests to install a diesel fired emergency generator with an internal combustion engine. This backup generator’s main function is to provide backup power to support operations in the event that primary power is interrupted.
- Requests 200 hours of operation per year. The generator will only be operated during unavoidable loss of commercial power or during required maintenance/exercising.
