Ron Cooper’s Labyrinth of Gravity references the classical figure while creating a sense of mystery. The large torso is etched with groupings of lines that form geometric patterns that seem simultaneously historic and futuristic. The towering human torso is held in place with minimal support and the etched lines create a contrast between the three-dimensional form and the two-dimensional patterns.
