Keep Albuquerque Beautiful and Locker #505 are teaming up to sponsor the 15th Annual Recyclothes event at Hinkle Fun Center. Every year, thousands of students in the greater Albuquerque area and their families go without basic necessities. Recyclothes is a clothing drive that directly benefits those students. Locker #505 partners with Albuquerque schools to ensure students in need have clothes, shoes, undergarments, and coats so they can focus on learning.

This year, get a head start on your spring cleaning! As you organize your closets, dresser drawers, and even your garages, set aside clean, gently used clothes to benefit the lives of Albuquerque students. You can help make a difference in a child’s life. Please bring your gently used clothing for K-12 students to Hinkle Fun Center from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The drive will also accept new underwear, new makeup kits, new hygienic products, and new and used toys. 

Right now, Locker #505 is urgently asking for the following items:

• Boys jeans/sweats: 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, and 12 
• Girls jeans/sweats/leggings: 6, 8, 16 and 18
• Boys shirts: 7, 12, 16 and 18
• Girls shirts: 6, 7, 8, 12, 16 and 18 
• Men's shirts: 7X
• Men's shorts: 7X
• Men's sweatpants: 7X
• Kids coats: 6 - 18
• Boys underwear (new): 10/12 and 14/16
• Girls underwear (new): 18
• Women's underwear (new): 5
• Men's underwear (new): Medium, 6X
• Boys shoes (new): 3, 4, 5 and 6
• Girls shoes (new): 11, 12, 13, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5
• Women's shoes (new): 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5 and 9 
• Men's shoes (new): 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5, 10, 10.5 and 11
