Description
Dash for the Trash is an exciting community event hosted by Keep Albuquerque Beautiful and the Solid Waste Management Department, aimed at beautifying the Bosque area through a fun and competitive cleanup. Combining exercise and environmental stewardship, we're offering residents an interactive way to stay healthy and help our community.
We're putting a twist on the traditional cleanup by adding a little competitive fire. The competition will be measured by seeing who can collect the most debris while walking and jogging along the Bosque and, in doing so, we'll be enjoying and beautifying our community at the same time.
Prizes will be awarded to the top cleaners and the top groups of cleaners, so participants will be welcome to sign up as either an individual or as a group.
The Bosque, a beloved natural area, requires continual care, and "Dash for the Trash" provides the perfect opportunity for individuals to unite and make a meaningful difference. By blending the spirit of competition with community service, we aim to inspire more residents to get involved and take pride in keeping Albuquerque beautiful.
