Ongoing Remediation on the Rail Yards Project
Built in 1917 and at its peak employing one quarter of the workforce in Albuquerque, the Rail Yards was a hub of cultural and industrial activity, an icon of strength for more than fifty years. To learn more about redevelopment, visit the Albuquerque Rail Yards page.
Photography & Tours
A weekly market will be held on Sundays (May-October) from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. It provides regular opportunities to photograph that structure, the exterior of others nearby and background for portraits. Full access to the site is not currently available due to ongoing redevelopment activities.
