Neighborhood Walk - Downtown and Sawmill Neighborhoods
The Neighborhood Walks Program is modeled on Jane’s Walk©, a nationwide initiative designed to actively encourage walkability in neighborhoods and provide an opportunity for participants to share neighborhood stories, discover unseen aspects of neighborhoods and use walking as a way to connect with neighbors.

Description
The ONC’s last Neighborhood Walk of 2025 will take place on Saturday, December 13 at 10:00 a.m. We will start at the west end of Tiguex Park at the Tricentennial Arch, walk through some of the Downtown Neighborhoods streets south of the park, then cross Mountain Road into the Sawmill Neighborhood to explore, and finally walk into Old Town and take photos in front of the Christmas tree near San Felipe Church. We will be combining this Walk with a neighborhood art tour, and will be exploring some of the interesting sculptures, murals, gates, and other eye-catching features of these areas, as well.
Feel free to wear your ugliest holiday sweater or other holiday-themed clothing or accessories. As always, remember to dress appropriately for the weather, wear comfortable walking shoes, bring water, and leave your four-legged friends at home.
