The International District Opportunity Center
The International District Opportunity Center is designed to be a true community hub: a place where nonprofit organizations can deliver services, residents can access resources, and the neighborhood can continue to gather, grow, and thrive.

The International District Opportunity Center is the City of Albuquerque's newest investment in one of Albuquerque's most vibrant neighborhoods — a transformed community hub bringing services, opportunity, and affordable housing to the heart of southeast Albuquerque.
About the Property
Location: 6600 Zuni Rd SE, 87108
Size: Approximately 29,850 sq ft across two stories
Parking: Large paved parking lot on site
The former Ballut Abyad Shriners Lodge at 6600 Zuni Road SE has been part of the International District since 1964. For decades, it served as a gathering place for southeast Albuquerque — hosting events, fundraisers, and community celebrations that brought neighbors together.
The City of Albuquerque acquired the property with one goal: to put it back to work for the community it has always called home.
