2021 Minimum Wage
The 2021 minimum wage required to be paid from Jan. 1, 2021, through Dec. 31, 2021:
- Starting Jan. 1, 2021, the minimum wage will be $10.50.
- Starting Jan. 1, 2021, the minimum wage for tipped employees will be $6.30.

*Beginning January 1, 2021, pursuant to Section 50-4-22 A (3) of the Minimum Wage Act, NMSA 1978, as amended, the State of New Mexico minimum wage rate increases to $10.50 per hour. The City of Albuquerque Minimum Wage Ordinance's annual wage rate adjustment must therefore comply with this higher state-mandated rate of $10.50 per hour.
