Become a Docent at Casa San Ysidro
Located in Corrales, Casa San Ysidro Museum welcomes thousands of area school children and visitors from near and far each year. Trained volunteers, or docents, make our tours and special programs possible. Casa San Ysidro is accepting applications from adults who would like to participate in our Spring training. This historic property is a satellite of the Albuquerque Museum and is supported by the Albuquerque Museum Foundation and the Village of Corrales.

Training Dates and Topics
April 17: NM history and the history of Casa San Ysidro: Gutiérrez / Minge House
April 24: Techniques for Interpreting Objects, Themes, and Engagement
May 1: School Tours, Programming, and Docent Opportunities

Applicants will need to sign up through the city’s One Albuquerque Volunteers site.
