Albuquerque Community Safety Department Hosts Open House

New department to welcome community and release comprehensive organizational plan

ALBUQUERQUE – After three months of successful operation and over 1,000 calls taken, the new Albuquerque Community Safety department (ACS) is inviting the community to stay engaged on its progress. ACS is hosting an Open House on Wednesday, December 15 from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm at its offices on the first floor of City Hall. This will be an opportunity for community partners, media, and members of the public to meet the City’s newest first responders and learn more about the launch of this first-of-its-kind department.

A highlight of the event will be the official release of ACS’s comprehensive organizational plan. This plan outlines the structure and operations of the department, and its goals for the future.

Event registration and more information can be found on the City’s website
