Report Misconduct by the Police

A complaint of police misconduct must be submitted within 90 days of the incident.

The online form below files a complaint with the Independent Review Office to report misconduct by an Albuquerque Police Officer or employee. All complaints must be signed in order to give the Independent Review Office full legal authority to investigate allegations of police misconduct.   Without a signature, we have limited legal authority to investigate allegations.

At the bottom of the form is an Electronic Signature form which constitutes your legal signature.  Please electronically sign your complaint if you wish the matter to be fully investigated.
