2019 Local Election Runoff, Tuesday Dec. 10th

District 2 and 4 City Council Runoff Election Voting Information

Election Day is December 10, 2019. Early Voting is Tuesday, November 19 to December 6, 2019. There will be no voting November 28 to November 30.

Voting is only open to voters in Districts 2 and 4. Find your district here.

Voter registration is available at any early vote location during early voting. There is no voter registration on election day, December 10.

 

City Councilors that began their term on December 1, 2015 in City Council Districts 2, 4, 6, and 8 shall serve until December 31st, 2019. The subsequent term of office for these Districts shall be elected at the regular local election held in November, 2019, and the new term shall commence January 1, 2020; and

The Mayor, and the City Councilors who began their term on December 1, 2017 in City Council Districts 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9, shall serve until December 31st 2021. The subsequent term of office for Mayor and for these Districts shall be elected at the regular local election in November, 2021, and the new term shall commence January 1, 2022.

In Albuquerque, the 2019 Local Election is overseen by Bernalillo County.
