ABQ RIDE is waiving fares for Election Day once again to make sure voters can get to the polls. ABQ RIDE has waived Election Day fares for over 5 years.

ABQ RIDE is waiving fares for Election Day once again to make sure voters can get to the polls. ABQ RIDE has waived Election Day fares for over 5 years.

Passengers can ride ABQ RIDE’s fixed-route buses and Sun Vans (for those who qualify) for free on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021. Free fares run from the beginning of service until the end of service.

Many transit departments across the nation have joined in the movement to make fares free on Election Day, including Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, Tampa, Louisville, San Antonio, Columbus and Richmond.

ABQ RIDE is Albuquerque‘s principal form of public transportation, logging an average of 120,000 passenger miles on its buses each day.
