Today is Wednesday, March 20, 2019.

Residential trash and recycling collection is on a regular schedule. Wednesday customers should leave their bins at the curb no later than 7 a.m.

Buses are running on a regular weekday schedule. Routes #36 and #37 northbound are detouring due to construction on Rio Grande at Candelaria. Route #157 is detouring due to the road closure at Louisiana at Gibson. 

To raise awareness for National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, Southwest Indigenous Initiative is hosting a free event featuring local Native performers, organizations, and speakers today at South Broadway Cultural Center at 6 p.m. The event is free and light refreshments provided.

Construction will begin on upgrades at North Domigo Multigenerational Center. New amenities will include a NCAA-sized gymnasium with 360 seat bleachers, 100 meter elevated running track, rock climbing wall, amphitheater, and children’s playground.

Have you seen "Visions of the Hispanic World: Treasures from the Hispanic Society Museum & Library" at the Albuquerque Museum? The exhibition includes over 200 of the most exceptional works of the Hispanic Society of America in New York City and many are being shown outside of the Hispanic Society for the first time. Catch it before March 31st.
