Community Visioning Survey 2024

Represent your community and help set the vision for regional planning efforts in Central NM!

This community survey will help shape the priorities and north star for multi-jurisdictional planning efforts happening this summer. If you live, work, play, or pray in the City of Albuquerque or the Counties of Sandoval, Bernalillo, Torrence, and Valencia - this is your first opportunity to help identify regional priorities that move us to a leader just transitions, resilience, and regeneration.

About CPRG:

Climate Pollution Reduction Grants (CPRG) Planning Program is a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency funded initiative that seeks to help states and Metropolitan Statistical Areas incorporate data-informed decision making into long-term planning efforts. Two of the key goals of this initiative are to 1) center the needs of frontline communities - those that experience the first and worst of climate change - and 2) to identify projects that significantly reduce climate pollution.

How your input will shape future planning efforts:

  • This first survey will help set the vision for regional planning efforts with the understanding that with a shared vision, concrete projects will follow.
  • Community input will be summarized and categorized into themes. Some direct quotes may be shared to further illustrate a representative vision, empower Policy Advisors and Community Task Force Members to identify concrete projects and solutions for government, industry, and community to get to this shared desire of the future.
