Admission tickets to the Balloon Museum may be purchased ahead of time at Hold My Ticket (balloonmuseum.holdmyticket.com) or in person at our ticket booth. Tickets may be used throughout the day beginning at 9 am and ending at 4:30 pm. Temporarily, due to Covid-19, the Balloon Museum only accepts payment by credit or debit card (no cash or checks). Free admission days are not available at this time.

The Environmental Health Department is seeking comment on a draft report concerning sulfur dioxide emissions in three Western states (New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming), required for compliance with the EPA's Regional Haze rule, protecting visibility in designated national parks and wilderness areas.

In accordance with the Regional Haze State Implementation Plan ("SIP") element for Albuquerque - Bernalillo County, the City of Albuquerque, Environmental Health Department ("EHD"), has determined that a regulatory requirement of the SIP has been met. Reported 2018 emissions of sulfur dioxide from affected sources were less than the 2018 Regional Sulfur Dioxide Emissions Milestone, which means the milestone has been met.
