Notice is hereby given that the Executive Committee in charge of maintaining the City of Albuquerque Development Process Manual (DPM) is considering amending the DPM.

The following areas are being proposed for amendments:

  1. Chapter 2 - Volumes 1 and 2 Procedures (proposed Chapter 2 Section 1 Summary of Procedures);
  2. Chapter 22 Drainage, Flood Control and Erosion Control Section 5 (proposed Chapter 6 Drainage, Flood Control and Erosion Control Section 5);
  3. Chapter 23 Transportation Design (proposed Chapter 7 Transportation Design, Section 1 Introduction, Section 3.2 Site Access Points, Section 3.10 Local Streets, Section 3.11 Off Street Parking and Site Design, Section 3.13 Street Lighting and Section 3.14 Traffic Control and Development Requirements);

Amendment 13 is intended to consolidate the DPM Procedures in Volumes 1 and 2 into one Summary of DPM Procedures.

Amendment 14 is intended to update Section 5, by adding new language related to preventing and mitigating construction impacts of new development adjacent to Major Public Open Space.

Amendment 15 is intended to update the City’s Transportation Design Guidelines to be consistent with the City’s Standard Specifications and Standard Drawings, Comprehensive Plan, Bikeway and Trail Facility Plan and the City’s Integrated Development Ordinance.

Public Comments

The meeting will be open to the public and any person may give verbal or written testimony in favor of or in opposition to the proposed amendment.

In addition, written comments not made at the meeting and related to these amendments will be accepted through July 17, 2018.
