Park Use & Park Pop-Up Agreement

Application to reserve a City park or apply for the Park Pop-Up Program. This form has two parts; if you do not intend to apply for aid through the park pop-up program please skip questions that start with "For Park Pop-Up Sponsorship Application:". Park Use Agreement form must be submitted no fewer than 14 days prior to your event. Park Pop-Up requests must be submitted 30 days prior to the event.

Please complete and submit the following form if you plan to host a Park Pop-Up or your park use meets one of the following special conditions:

  • Inflatables (i.e. fun jumps, bouncer houses, etc.)
  • Alcohol use in parks
  • Groups over 100
  • Tent or canopies (stakes prohibited)
  • Live music, bands, or amplification systems
  • Serving or selling food to the public
  • Publicized events
  • Street barricading
  • Portable restrooms
  • Organized recreation

 

Note: Except jumper sites, this agreement is not a reservation or guarantee for use of any specific park or area. City parks are open to the general public and cannot be reserved. This paperwork is for the purpose of coordinating events, organized sports and maintenance of scheduled events.

Designated Jumper Sites

Fun jump companies must have current license and insurance. $35 per jumper site for 4 hours. View a list of approved inflatable jumper companies.

Will portable toilet(s) be on site?   Portable toilet(s) required for events of 100 people or more.


Neighborhood Park Pop-Up Sponsorship

The City of Albuquerque would like to partner with neighborhood groups, associations, non-profits, and educational institutions to bring community-led arts, culture, and educational programming to City parks.

Under the Neighborhood Park Pop-Up program, the City's Parks & Recreation department will sponsor park pop-up organizers who offer a solid plan for small- to medium-size, free public programs in a City park-Such as community picnic, performing arts event, sport/recreation day, movie night, or other art/cultural event. Organizations can apply for a sponsorship to enhance existing programs or events or to help launch new opportunities. 

All of the Park Pop-Up Questions are Required to be Eligible for Sponsorship
