Description

A community gathering and read-in to celebrate Black Literature and History. Participants are welcomed to come listen to excerpts from Black authors/artists, view an exhibit of Black History/Resilience from the NM African American Resilience Committee, participate in a book swap, and visit the South Broadway Cultural Center Gallery & Library.

Also, participants can sign up to bring and read aloud in front of an audience an excerpt from a book or article by RSVPing for this event.

This event is also in collaboration with CABQ Cultural Services Department, CABQ Office of Civil Rights, and CABQ Office of Civic Engagement.
