Description

As of 2014, 2,464 animals and 2,104 plants around the world are labeled as "critically endangered." These species face a high risk of extinction in the wild. For more than 40 years, the Endangered Species Act has worked to protect animals and plants from extinction and helped put those species on the path to recovery.

Learn what the ABQ BioPark is doing to help keep species off the extinction list and what you can do to help.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to make keychains for Catching Hope, a conservation organization that is helping to save the endangered saola.
