Monte Vista Boulevard Parking Improvements

A study to assess the possibility of adding on-street parking for Nob Hill area

Overview

City Councilor Pat Davis contracted a study of Monte Vista Boulevard to assess the possibility of adding on-street parking for the Nob Hill area. This project began in October of 2016 with a commissioned study of the corridor between Central Avenue and Campus Blvd. The study utilized aerial photography, traffic data, and input from several stakeholders. This resulted in a final set of recommendations, which can be found below in the “Resources” section of this page.

  • December 2016 | Draft memo received
  • January – February 2016 | Outreach to stakeholders, including Albuquerque Public Schools and the Nob Hill Neighborhood Association
  • March 2016 | Final memo received, discussions on implementation with City’s Department of Municipal Development
