City Councilor Cynthia Borrego Helps Open the Petroglyph Little League Season

Opening Day was Saturday, April 6th.

Opening Day Ceremonies continue for Little Leagues all over the City of Albuquerque. On Saturday, April 6th, City Councilor Cynthia Borrego spoke and welcomed the players, coaches, and parents to the new season at Petroglyph Little League at Mariposa Park in Council District 5.

Councilor Borrego and area New Mexico State Legislators like District 23’s State Senator Sander Rue worked diligently to secure funding to improve the Petroglyph Little League Park at the 2019 State Legislative Session.  New Trash receptacles, funded from District 5 set-aside monies, were installed throughout Mariposa Park the same day as the beginning of the Petroglyph Little League opening season.
