About the Study

The City of Albuquerque, in partnership with the Mid-Region Council of Governments (MRCOG), is conducting a Complete Streets Study on Taylor Ranch Road/Golf Course Road to identify the specific safety issues and challenges faced by pedestrians, bicycles, and transit riders along the corridor.

The principal goals of the study are to document existing conditions along the corridor, identify safety concerns and gaps in the pedestrian and bicycle networks, present recommendations for roadway improvements, as well as recommend character enhancements along the corridor.

Major considerations for the Complete Streets Study will include:

  • Reducing high travel speeds
  • Addressing safety issues and dangerous crossing locations
  • Identifying potential improvements to bike lanes and trails
  • Increasing connections to commercial areas

Study Area

The study area will be along Taylor Ranch Road/Golf Course Road, between Montaño and Westside Boulevard.
