Hello Neighbors,
The next City Council meeting is Wednesday, September 5 at 5:00 pm in the Vincent Griego Chambers, basement level of City Hall: Agenda.
Have you ever been the victim of a crime, reported it to the police and didn’t hear from them again? Would you like to know how to find out if they pursued and/or apprehended the perpetrator?
If you are the victim of a crime report it to APD. Be sure to ask to meet with an officer and file a police report. If it is a property crime where no offender information is known call (505) 768-2030 (Telephone Reporting Unit) to file the report or file it online at cabq.gov/police. A case number will be issued if a report is filed in any of the ways mentioned above.
A few weeks after the report has been filed contact any of the police substations and provide them with the case number, they will confirm who the case has been assigned to. If at that point the case has not been assigned - ask for the Impact Supervisor to see if they received the report. Once you know the name of the detective the case has been assigned to you will be able to speak directly to the individual and monitor the outcome.
