Where
Description
The Public Works Division of Bernalillo County, and agency partners MRGCD, the City of Albuquerque, and AMAFCA, invite you to participate in a public meeting for the Alameda Drain & Trail Master Plan. The Master Plan will guide the future development of a multi-use trail along the Alameda Drain.
Stop in at any time between 6:00 and 8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at the Los Griegos Health and Social Services Center to learn about the final preferred alignment and trail amenities. Join us for a short presentation at 6:30pm detailing the process and summarizing the proposed Drain & Trail design solutions.
The Master Plan corridor includes the portion of the Alameda Drain from Rio Grande Boulevard north to Cynthia Loop, just south of the North Diversion Channel, a length of approximately nine miles.
This is the final public involvement activity for the Master Plan, which will be finalized following a final comment period that will end on September 1, 2016. You may preview the Master Plan and download a comment form from the project website at: bernco.gov/alamedadrainproject. A segment of the corridor will then move into the design and construction phase.
