New Year's Eve Before Dark Offers a Variety of Activities for Families
December 22, 2022 - Those looking for fun family activities before the sun goes down on New Year's Eve can expect just that during New Year's Eve Before Dark on Saturday, Dec. 31. The City of Albuquerque is offering free admission to the ABQ BioPark Zoo, Aquarium, and Botanic Garden, Albuquerque Museum, and Anderson Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum on New Year's Eve. Early closure at the facilities is 3 p.m.
In addition to touring the current exhibitions, visitors at the Albuquerque Museum can enjoy holiday-themed crafts from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. From 9 a.m. to noon, the Balloon Museum will offer balloon science activities, crafts, live music, and fun photo opportunities for visitors.
All 19 branches of the Public Library of Albuquerque/Bernalillo County will offer a variety of activities including special story times and crafts. A list of times and locations can be found at https://libevents.abqlibrary.org/. Early closure is 3 p.m.
