Full Day of Live Music During Mother's Day at the Zoo
May 4, 2022 - The ABQ BioPark will celebrate all moms during Mother's Day at the Zoo on Sunday, May 8 with live music throughout the day and plenty of opportunities to learn about soon-to-be and veteran mothers who call the Zoo home. Tickets, with a special Mother's Day brunch option, are available in advance at https://abqbiopark.holdmyticket.com/.
A day of live music by local entertainers kicks off at 9 a.m. at the Flamingo Gazebo with Celtic harp and vocals by Michele Buchanan.

Discovery Stations will educate guests about Zoo motherhood, including how it's decided who will become a mother, how the staff prepares for births, and how they support new moms, as well as family dynamics, maternal care, birth statistics, conservation, and more. Kids activities include free face painting and a 25-foot rock climbing wall.
There will be a Bloody Mary bar set up in the Nature Theatre for those 21+. The Cottonwood Café and a variety of snack bars will be open, but picnics are always welcome. Glass containers, alcohol, canopies, and sports equipment are prohibited. Pets are not allowed at the ABQ BioPark.
