Curious about winemaking? Join the ABQ BioPark Botanic Garden and New Mexico State University to learn how. This two-part workshop will provide an introduction to the winemaking process: grape maturity, harvesting, processing, applied fermentation theory and management, winemaking techniques, tools and sanitation for winemakers. Gill Giese, PhD, New Mexico State University Extension viticulture specialist, will be demonstrating and discussing all the basics you  need to get started. We will be using heirloom mission grapes grown right here on the Heritage Farm. Registration is limited to 15 participants.
