Learn about the City Nature Challenge, a competition between cities across the globe! Last year, out of nearly 160 cities, Albuquerque placed in the top five in seven categories! Find out about observations and identification events across the city (April 24-27, 2020) and learn how to use iNaturalist, a citizen science app that you can access from a smartphone, a tablet, or a computer. This brown bag will have a brief lecture followed by a how-to session for iNaturalist—bring a device if you would like to practice making observations.

Brown Bag Lectures

This series of informal lunchtime lectures presents the science of conservation.  Brown Bag lectures take place twice a month on Thursdays and Saturdays, alternating between the Aquarium/Botanic Garden and the Zoo.

Brown Bag Lectures begin at 12:45 p.m.
