Join Lefty Arnold for a fun-filled presentation for beginning birders followed by a walk throughout the gardens in search of our feathered friends. Discover several species of birds that call Albuquerque home at least part of the year.
Lefty Arnold is an enthusiastic birder who has led walks for the Albuquerque BioPark Botanic Gardens, the Central New Mexico Audubon Society, and the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science.
About the Botanic Garden Workshop Series
This event is part of the Botanic Garden Workshop Series, which takes place on the fourth Saturday of each month. Discover the wonder of our natural world through workshops that will engage your senses and connect you to your local environment. The workshops cover a range of topics, art, plants, insects and gardening techniques for participants of all levels of knowledge and interests. Workshops are two hours long and are taught by local experts and enthusiasts.
