Description
Bird Field Journaling
Join us at the ABQ BioPark Botanic Garden and learn how to create your own birding field journal. We will observe and identify local birds, create illustrations featuring field markings and unique avian behaviors, and hone our observational skills to write meaningful entries and reflections. This workshop will be led by Alex Levine, the Education Coordinator of the Bosque Ecosystem Monitoring Program (BEMP). Alex, a lifelong birder, has been marrying his love of writing, drawing, photography, and birding for the past five years in educational outreach and curriculum design. Come join us for some feathered fun. It'll be a hoot! Though an owl sighting is not guaranteed.
