Soil: The Cornerstone of Life

What does a plant need from the soil? What are soil amendments and why should you plant cover crops? How does compost, mycelium, and microbes help your soil? Join Jedrek Lamb, local farmer, to discover how to make the right soil for the right plant. Learn about soil mixes and preparation for ornamental and edible plants, shrubs, and trees. Get your hands dirty making soil and find out how to make plants happy. Jedrek Lamb is farmer with Granja Para Manana, a member of the Agri-Cultura Network farmer-owned cooperative, and one of the coordinators of the Grow the Growers farmer training program..
