Description
Cactus Propagation
Cactuses can reproduce by seeds or by pieces that fall off and take root. Join Dave Ferguson, curator of desert plants at the BioPark, to learn how to propagate plants yourself. Discover how to take cuttings and root them, how to germinate seeds, and how to keep them alive once they start growing. This workshop will focus on plants that are hardy in Albuquerque and can be grown outside.
