Good Neighbor Requirements for 2015 Ozone NAAQS

This page displays a legal notice of an opportunity for the public to comment on, or request a public hearing on, a proposed submittal by the Environmental Health Department to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, certifying that New Mexico, including Albuquerque and Bernalillo County, meet the requirements of the federal Clean Air Act's "Good Neighbor" provision with respect to the 2015 National Ambient Air Quality Standard for ozone.

Final 2018 Regional Sulfur Dioxide Emissions and Milestone Report

This page displays a legal notice informing the public of a determination by the Environmental Health Department that regional emissions of sulfur dioxide for calendar year 2018 in air quality jurisdictions participating in the Sulfur Dioxide Emissions and Milestone Program (which include New Mexico and Albuquerque - Bernalillo County) are below the regulatory threshold that would otherwise have triggered an emissions trading program for sulfur dioxide in the participating jurisdictions. The details of this determination are set forth in an annual report required in certain circumstances in accordance with the Albuquerque - Bernalillo County element of New Mexico's Regional Haze State Implementation Plan, pursuant to requirements of the Environmental Protection Agency's Regional Haze Rule, 40 CFR Part 51, Section 309.
