Base Fares

Things to Consider about Fares and Passes

• The ABQ RIDE Customer Service Center accepts cash, Visa or Mastercard as payment for passes and tokens.
• There are no refunds on passes or tokens.
• Drivers do not carry money and cannot open the farebox.
• The farebox will accept coins (U.S. only), ABQ RIDE tokens, and $1 bills in the bill slot only.
  ABQ RIDE fareboxes do not give change.
• Please have exact change ready before boarding the bus.
• You MUST show proper identification to purchase and to use the Silver Monthly Pass, Summer Fun Pass, and the College Monthly Pass.
• A current school class schedule MUST be provided when purchasing a College bus pass.
• Passes usually go on sale the 20th of each month for the following month.
• Passes will NOT be honored for special events.
• Most passes are prorated (half price) on the 16th of the month.
