About Fares and Passes:
- Effective February 1, 2009 1-day passes will be available at a self service kiosk at the Alvarado Transportation Center. The kiosk accepts credit and debit cards.
- ABQ RIDE Customer Service Center accepts cash, Visa, Mastercard or American Express for passes.
- No refunds on passes.
- Drivers do not carry money and can not open fareboxs to make change.
- Fareboxs only accept coins (U.S. only), and $1 bills. ABQ RIDE fareboxes do not give change.
- Have exact change ready before boarding.
- Proper identification is required to purchase Silver Monthly Passes, Summer Fun Pass, and College Monthly Passes.
- Passes go on sale the 20th of each month for the following month.
- Passes are not valid for special events.
- Some passes are prorated (half price) on the 16th of the month.
