Enjoy a hike at the Golden Open Space on La Madera Road from 9 to 11 a.m. today in Sandia Park. This guided hike, one in a series of hikes in celebration of the 35th anniversary of the Open Space Division, will give you an opportunity to discover a less traveled site. Golden Open Space is located in Sandoval County just north of Cedar Crest and features spectacular vistas, fascinating rock formations, and rich history. This is a strenuous hike. Be sure to bring water, a hat, and sunscreen.
