Dec. 22, 2020

The City of Albuquerque is partnering with the New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) to open a new Curative COVID-19 testing site in Nob Hill. Appointments are not required and walk ups will be registered onsite at the location, 3222 Central Ave. SE.

The Nob Hill testing site opens today at 4 p.m. and will operate from 4 to 6 p.m. daily with the exception of Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. The free testing is open to anyone who desires to be tested, whether they are symptomatic or asymptomatic.

“We’re working closely with our State partners to bring testing to people where they are,” said Mayor Keller. “This new site will operate during the Nob Hill Shop & Glow to provide testing that is free, fast and easy. Getting tested is the best way to help Albuquerque move out of the red.”

The Department of Health recommends individuals stay home after testing to await their results so as not to inadvertently spread the virus. For information on testing and isolation guidelines visit cv.nmhealth.org.
