Description

The City of Albuquerque is currently updating the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) Transition Plan.

The transition plan requires public entities to evaluate its current services, policies and practices to ensure persons with disabilities are protected from discrimination on the basis of a disability.

About the Transition Plan

The transition plan will be completed in various phases, with the first phase consisting of the inventory of the City’s Right-of-Way (ROW) features that will consist of curb ramps, sidewalks, and obstructions within sidewalks and ramps. Future phases of the transition plan will include alleyways and driveways and coordinate efforts to implement the transition plan for facilities and parks.
