Mammography saves time and lives, Early detection is the best protection.

Most women age 50 – 74 should have a screening mammogram every 2 years.

The BetterHealth program promotes regular breast cancer screening. Every May and October the mammography van is conveniently located downtown to provide mammograms at no cost to City of Albuquerque employees and family members covered by Presbyterian Health Plan and other insurance plans. Additional worksite locations vary.

If you are 40 – 49 years old, or think you may have a higher risk of breast cancer, ask your doctor when to have a screening mammogram. The mobile mammography unit brings advanced digital breast cancer screening technology on the road to Albuquerque.

*should be scheduled at least 11 months since your last mammogram. Other health insurance plans may be accepted. Please call the scheduling number to confirm insurance coverage.
