Annual Twinkle Light Parade Brings Joy and Light to Nob Hill

Albuquerque's biggest parade includes floats, bands, and more
Marching bands, dancing elves, superheros, and Santa will make their way through Historic Nob Hill during the City of Albuquerque's Twinkle Light Parade on Saturday, Dec. 7. The parade will begin at 5:15 p.m. and travel west on Central Ave. from Washington St. to Girard Blvd.  
 
This year's free family-friendly event features 120 entries that includes 303 vehicles and 3,200 people. For maximum twinkleness, all vehicles, people, and animals will have lights.    
 
Parade spectators are encouraged to come early and stay late for dining and holiday shopping specials at variety of Nob Hill shops, restaurants, and galleries. The parade route will be closed to vehicle traffic from 2-10 p.m.  
 
Free park and ride parking will be available at the southwest lot located on the southwest corner of Lomas Blvd. and University Blvd. Buses will run from the lot to Johnson Field throughout the event until from 2:30-10:30 p.m.
 
Twinkle Light Parade sponsors are 99.5 Magic FM, 93.3 the Q, and 92.3 KRST FM.
