Learn how to create your very own wildlife refuge by restoring pockets of native habitat in your backyard, community garden, or apartment balcony. Help to create a habitat network for wildlife and people on residential lots, schools, and neighborhoods throughout our community and learn to make more wildlife friendly spaces at your home.

This event is part of the Botanic Garden Workshop Series, which takes place on the fourth Saturday of each month. Discover the wonder of our natural world through workshops that will engage your senses and connect you to your local environment. The workshops cover a range of topics, art, plants, insects and gardening techniques for participants of all levels of knowledge and interests. Workshops are two hours long and are taught by local experts and enthusiasts.
