Description

The program features seven residents from Albuquerque and surrounding communities from widely varying backgrounds, each recounting his or her powerful personal story of living with their own mental illness or a family member who has  a loved one with an illness. Their poignant stories of confusion, loss, humor, hope, and resilience focus on anxiety and eating disorders, clinical depression, and schizophrenia.  “Minds” is a unique, moving opportunity to erase the stigma surrounding mental illness and suicide and to shed light on the dedication and courage of those who live with mental illness day in and day out.

We are honored to dedicate this performance to Ken Sanchez, former President of Albuquerque City Council.

Doors open at 5:00pm to 6:45pm for a Silent Auction and Hors d'oeuvres.

Live Performance at 7:00pm.
